A Note From The Maker
Hi, I’m Jeff — founder of HB Equine.
I’ve spent my life building, fixing, and creating things with my hands. Whether in the workshop, the garage, or the barn, I’ve always looked for better ways to solve everyday problems. You may know me from my other work with Home Built Workshop or Hayley Guitars, where I’ve spent years designing and building everything from instruments to DIY tools. That same spirit of craftsmanship drives everything we do here at H&B Equine.
My daughter is an active rider and competitor, and through her, I’ve had a front-row seat to the everyday realities of horse care. I’ve seen firsthand what works — and what doesn’t — and that insight has shaped the gear we create.
This brand was born out of a simple idea: horse people deserve tools that are thoughtfully made, comfortable to use, and tough enough to last. I take pride in designing gear that’s practical, reliable, and built from real-world experience — not guesswork.
